Board of Directors

President, Paul Duncan

Duncan picked up the reins in 2009 after long serving president, Wes McCallister, stepped down after a very successful year for the club. Duncan, member of the NCSU Aussie Rules Club, was elected to his fourth term on the Board. Paul has been with the club since 2006 and is a great example of how successful the Tigers' recruitment process can be. Paul wears #84 and has become a crucial position player within the organization. Paul was given the opportunity to travel to Australia early January 2008 to immerse himself in footy culture for three months in Western Australia. Duncan is also a member of the U.S. Revolution and logged additional frequent flier miles to Australia, playing in the August 2008 AFL International Cup, kicking three goals in the tournament.

Vice President, John Scull

John (Sculls), a newcomer in 2008, earned the Rookie of the Year Award his first year. Sculls spends time driving from Wilmington, NC to Chapel Hill and enjoys body boarding, tattoos, and beer that no one else likes. He was always looking for ways to be more involved with the club and being on the board was the next best opportunity. You'll find him in the ruck, wearing #32.

Treasurer, Jason Heathcote

Jason (Showtime Jack), originally from Melbourne, has been with the club since 2003. Being a player and coach of the club wasn't enough for Heathcote, since he handles finances away from the club, he thought treasurer would be a good fit. Once asked "How did you get into Footy?" Answer: "An old nomadic Aboriginal man raised me from birth in the ways of the footy tribes." Jason likes fruit, is a Libra, and dream's to gather a collection of penguins and teach them to parade in formation with miniature instruments. Heathcote wears #16 and plays CHB, CHF.

Secretary, Brian Steffy

Brian first donned the yellow and black in 2008, and was all over the ground as an on-baller at the USAFL Nationals in Colorado Springs. He's originally from Philadelphia, PA, currently living in Raleigh. Steffy loves to run, be healthy, and has a knack for blending in with homeless people, as if he is one of them. Brian wears the #36 jumper.

At Large, Brian Zimorowicz

Brian (Zims or Jangles) has been with the club since 2004 and tied for the award for Most Improved Player in that same year. He received another club award in 2006: Striving for Excellence, and was an alternate selection for U.S. Revolution in 2007. Zims wanted to prove he can work hard for the club off the field, and in doing so, bring looks, charm, youth, and exuberance to the board. Though not the first time in a club leadership position, Brian was captain NC Metrofooty League Rams. Zims wears the #21 jumper and when he's not in the ruck, you'll find him in Chapel Hill.
