Baltimore/Washington coming to town The 2006 Season is here and the Tigers are hungry! The North Carolina Tigers take on their regional rivals, the Baltimore-Washington Eagles, in the EAFL season opener this Saturday (Apr. 22nd) at Old Farm Park in Durham, North Carolina. Gametime is 2 PM. With a new season upon the USAFL, this match-up will definitely set the tone of the upcoming season and provide players with a chance to work out the kinks in order to make a successful run at the 2006 USAFL Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada come early October. This game will be the seventh time both of these clubs have squared off against one another. The Eagles hold a solid history winning record against the Tigers (5 wins, 1 loss); however the fitness levels of a younger and energetic North Carolina team have pressured the Eagles over the last couple of years. Last years match was a game of accuracy – with Tigers losing out. This time its different – so come along and support the club. The Tigers playing group for 2006 is one of the largest ever, and with pre-season beginning back in January, all bets are off for Saturday. The club would also like to invite all members and supporters to the post game event at 7pm at Woodys@CityMarket in Raleigh after the game. |
2006 Season Has Begun! The North Carolina Tigers embark on their 8th Season with great anticipation for success. The club continues to grow and expand as the word spreads and new players join in the

tigers games. If you are interested in playing Metro Footy or Tigers Footy, please contact info@nctigers.com. Now is a perfect time to get started. |
