The North Carolina Tigers received their worst defeat of the season as they traveled to play a strong Boston Demons squad. The Demons playing in their only home game were hungry to tally a win in front of their home crowd.

The Tigers started off with strong play and even created the first scoring opportunity as a mark was taken less than 10 meters from goal. However, the kick was not straight and surprisingly missed the goal. Tigers were on the board first with a behind. This early strike did not phase the Demons as they answered with numerous opportunities as they pounded the ball into their offensive end. They finished the quarter with four goals and just as many behinds.

The Tigers played strong in the second quarter. With the ball at both ends of the field, each team had chances. The Tigers only managed three behinds while the Demons capitalized and tallied two goals.

The 3rd quarter was the one that blew the game open and all but finished the day as the Tigers were held scoreless and the Demons ran up eight goals.

The final quarter saw a tired but unwilling to give up Tiger team take the field. While not much changed on the scoreboard, expect the Tigers finally goaled, the Tigers played hard and pressed until the final siren.
